Meet our 2016 Interns!

By Erik Hane & Stacey Graham

With Red Sofa now up to seven (!) agents, things are gloriously busier here than ever before. We’ve got an ever-growing list of authors from all walks and genres, and keeping track of it all has our hands full. Luckily, we’ve just hired two new interns for the summer. Please welcome Annie Moore and Liz Rahn!

Annie Moore HeadshotAnnie Moore was mentored by young-adult and middle-grade author Claire Legrand, where she found her desire to begin her publishing career. She’s worked at both academic and literary journals, and has served as a marketing and publicity intern at Spencer Hill Press. She’s got social media experience we’re looking forward to featuring and she will be helping with submission evaluation.

Liz

Liz Rahn has worked in the editorial departments of two college journals, tutored in campus writing programs, and has worked an internship at a local alternative newspaper. She’s bringing to the team some sharp instincts for communicating with and on behalf of authors, and will help us with our various social media channels as well as our huge submission volume.

It should be a great summer, and we’re excited for what’s to come here at the Sofa. Once more, welcome to Liz and Annie!
